When should I renew my trademark?

You can file for renewal up to 6 months before the expiry date, or at any time during the 10-year validity period. The safest approach is to file 3–6 months before expiry. We track and remind you of your deadline as part of our service.

What is the cost of trademark renewal in India?

Our Standard Renewal package starts at ₹3,999 per mark per class, including the government fee. For surcharge renewals (filed within 12 months after expiry), additional government fees apply. We provide a full quote before any filing.

What happens if my trademark has already expired?

You can still renew within 12 months of expiry by paying the government surcharge. After 12 months, the mark is struck off the register and you must apply fresh. If you are past the deadline, contact us immediately — time is critical.

Do I need to renew for each class separately?

Yes. If your trademark is registered in multiple classes, each class requires a separate renewal filing and fee. We manage multi-class renewals under one engagement.

Will the trademark number change after renewal?

No. Your trademark registration number remains the same after renewal. Only the validity date is extended by 10 years from the previous expiry date.
